Behind The Scenes @ Marchesa Bridal NY Fashion Week 15

Marchesa Bridal collection parade showcased a collection that was dreamy, enchanting and utterly fairy like. The designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig's have succeeded in creating a romantic, soft and whimsical look for the bohemian inspired bride. The collection uses a unique array of crystals, lace and tulle.

The collection is also somewhat pixie like: tulle socks with flowers floating; plats and light hair pieces; crystals and high neck lace tops; pearls, long sleeves and opulent bead work. When looking over this collection we just can't help but picture cute brides climbing trees, picking flowers and dancing with fairies.

Some of the gowns had shorter scalloped hems. This is a perfect alternative for brides who would either like to wear some pretty pink or blue statement heels or even those who are concerned about tripping over as they walk down the aisle. Or for the real bohemian bride the mid length gowns are perfect for dancing barefoot.

The highlight of the collection in our opinion is the simply stunning clutches. They are structural and earthy. The crystals convey a sense of security and connection with the earth. A bond with nature which you can hold in your hands. We'd suggest these to any bride want to have a bohemian style wedding.
