In an Australian first, leading bridal designer Ines Di Santo has launched her first collection in a lavish runway show at Pier One Hotel, Sydney. The gowns will be hung in the Eternal Bridal boutique in Sydney's historic, Strand Arcade. Kisses & Cake spoke with the designer about the launch and her new Spring 2017 collection. We also attended the event so we could share with you our personal thoughts on the new range.

The new collection arriving in Australian has certainly been the talk of the wedding town. Wedding planners, media and industry specialists were a buzz as they gathered to watch the debut of this talented designer and we certainly were not left disappointed with many of us going insta-crazy at the affair.
The gowns were sophisticated, luxurious and romantic. Soft luxurious fabrics, elegant beading and plunging necklines make up this couture range.
When asked about her new range Di Santo told Kisses & Cake, "For this collection, I pulled from spring herself. Imagining flowers that emerge in the season and the path they take to sunlight. I’ve used lace, 3D floral embroidery and movement in my gowns."
We were swept away by the intricacies and variation in the designs. From large ballroom classics to bold daring lace pants, the brand offers a subtle distinction from many other bridal designers.
Our team at Kisses & Cake have attended numerous bridal launches and more often than not we find that a gown can look glamorous on a catwalk but up close can be clunky and unwieldy. So we went up close and personal with the gowns for a closer inspection and can assure you that this wasn't the case for Ines Di Santo’s range. The designs were delicate and highlighted the beauty of the female form. The fabric floated beautifully and draped in the right places as the models walked and posed for photos.
"The Ines Di Santo collection hangs in the most prestigious stores in the world and we are beyond thrilled to add Eternal Bridal to our partner list. Their attention to every detail and their commitment to bringing the finest collections together for their brides is evident in everything they do. We know the Ines Di Santo bride will have a lovely experience in their hands," said Di Santo.
It certainly has been wonderful to welcome Ines Di Santo into the Australian market and share their beautiful designs with our brides. You can read more about the designer below.
