DIY Watercolour Linen

If you'd like something a little wild on your wedding tables then get creative and make your own watercolour linens. You can make pretty blooms or interesting patterns. All you need is some watercolour paints and fabric.

First, lightly dampen the fabric with water. Then with watercolour paints and a professional paintbrush apply the paint. We'd suggest using strong bold colours that will blend and mix nicely together, for example, pinks, purples, yellows, blues and greens. For an extra cool effect, put salt on the fabric and paint over it. You'll create an interesting speckled effect.

Hang the fabric up to dry but be sure that the colour has soaked in first, if not it will run all down from top to bottom.
